Ribbons of hope and good will at the Good Friday Breakfast

The YMCA welcomed the community to a morning of prayer and unity at the IKE Box for Good Friday.

The event had more of an open house feel this year, and a message was provided by Y staff member, Brandon Lemon. The president of the YMCA board, Dan Moore, opened the event up in prayer and Jessica Peterson, North Community Director for Mid-Valley Young Life, sang the Doxology in closing. Next year, this event will take place at the new Y facility!

Thank you to everyone who came out and covered our community and our world in prayer.

At the end of the Good Friday Breakfast, we intentionally tied ribbons of faith and messages of good will to the YMCA construction fence. The cross is the ultimate symbol of sacrifice on display, and we want to use these ribbons to visually show our community coming together to honor Christ and lift each other up.

Thank you from your Salem Family YMCA.
