State of the Art Equipment
The Salem facility features three multipurpose training rooms with more space, all-new equipment, wheelchair access, and natural light. Strength training and cardiovascular equipment for all your wellness needs.
Free Child Watch in the Play & Learn
With a Family Membership, bring your child for two hours while parent(s) are in the facility.

Teens have a space at the Salem Y - a place to belong and grow together in a safe, fun environment.

We offer classes for the aging population! From chair yoga to Enhance fitness. We also have quarterly social events!
Rooftop Terrace & Track
10 laps make one mile on our rooftop track, allowing runners a safe outside cardio area - just blocks from the state's capitol in gorgeous downtown Salem.
Indoor Swimming Pool
Continuing the Y’s long tradition of teaching and coaching swimming, the Salem facility has an ADA accessible warm water pool - typically around 84°-86°
Gymnasium
Painted for basketball courts, pickleball courts & volleyball courts - come down to the Y for open court time.
No contract and payment flexibility:
Select the 1st or 15th for your dues to be auto-paid ; cancel anytime. We ask you give us a month's notice.
Guest passes for members
Each membership gets 5 guest passes at the time of joining!
The Salem Withnell Y does not offer day passes for non-members.
The Salem Withnell Family Y Provides Court Care Monday-Friday
Mid-Valley Court and Community Care provides free, drop-in childcare to families in Marion & Polk Counties that require short-duration childcare to attend court-related or other business.
Visit the Square community space for coffee, sandwiches, and grab-and-go snacks.
