The School-Age Program Lead is responsible for preparing and implementing the planned curriculum and activities under the direction of the Site Supervisor and Multi-Site Director. To supervise groups of school age children and ensure all children’s individual needs are met with dignity and respect as well as their safety by following YMCA policies and procedures. To model, practice and carry out the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility

Programs take place at various sites in Salem-Keizer and throughout the greater communities, Monday through Friday. Summer Program Hours are 7am-6pm, summer allows for additional hours, up to 28 hours per week. Our programs work with children ages 5 to 12 years old.

To follow and create planned curriculum under the direction of the Multi-Site Director. To implement provided curriculum according to the weekly schedule along with planned weekly activities in Art, STEAM, and humanities. To supervise groups of school age children and ensure all children’s individual needs are met with dignity and respect as well as their safety by following YMCA and DELC policies and procedures. To model, practice and carry out the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

Summer Programs take place at various sites in Salem-Keizer and throughout the greater communities, Monday through Friday  with hours ranging from 7:00am-6:00pm. Our programs work with children in grades K-5th. Supervisors can work up to 29 hours a week, with weekly meetings and prep time available.
