Fall Baseball Camp Happening on October 15 at Salem YMCA

The Family YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties will be hosting a Fall Baseball Camp on Sunday, October 15, at the Salem Family YMCA located in downtown Salem.

Former professional baseball player and current scout for the Atlanta Braves Brett Evert will be hosting the camp for children ages 5 to 12 that will run from 1:00-3:00 PM.

The price is $25 for members and $45 for non-members.

ABOUT BRETT EVERT

Brett Evert graduated from North Salem High School in 1999 and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the same year. Brett spent nine seasons playing for the Braves, Mariners, Brewers and Red Sox. He has spent the last nine years scouting throughout the Northwest Region for the Braves. In nine seasons, Brett appeared in 245 games making 127 starts in the pros. The right-hander registered 47 wins to go along with four saves, while striking out 786 batters.

To register for the camp, visit the Welcome Desk inside the Salem Family YMCA either before or on the day of the camp.
